COURSE DETAIL
If your work involves CAD, the advantages of VectorWorks simply can't be overstated. It's an interactive program that allows you to modify shapes and dimensions on a continual basis. Through a series of lessons and simple exercises, you will gain the confidence to use the technology independently and then apply your knowledge to a range of projects, such as interiors, furniture and even whole buildings. You will start by mastering the key tools and main menu commands, before looking at drawing strategies and how to set up a project. Your tutor will help you to understand layers and manipulate and present drawings. You will also:
- benefit from a 3D tutorial in architectural drawing, using key tools, symbols and basic rendering
- learn how to produce detailed construction drawings from 2D or 3D drawings
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
Delegates are advised to bring a portable USB drive to save their work on.
