Who we are and what we do

Our friendly staff are happy to help you with general enquiries or help you find your way around the College as a new student.

We are responsible for issuing replacement student ID cards. We deal with letter requests and we provide a collection point for students who are picking up bursary cheques or access to learning fund cheques. If you are experiencing any difficulties with your University email or Blackboard account we will be able to help you.

If you are an existing student and you have a general enquiry about study progression we can help you to find out more about application processes and the options available to you at LCC.

Please note the UAL operate a No ID Card – No Entry to all of their buildings so please make sure you bring your ID Card to College at all times.

Letter requests

If you require a letter from the University to open a bank account, council tax exemption or confirmation of study at UAL, please email letterrequest@lcc.arts.ac.uk with the following details:

• For bank letters please provide the name of bank and branch address
• For Council Tax letters please provide your current term time address
• Always quote your Student ID number (found at the top of your ID card e.g. HAN01234567) for all letter requests

We also produce confirmation of study letters for new students – these will be available for collection 48 hours after enrolment.

You need to collect your letter from the Information Centre unless you ask us to post the letter directly to you.

For letters specifically relevant to international students, such as immigration, CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance Studies) please contact Student Services and the LCC International Office.

We try to process and produce your letter as quickly as we can, but during busy periods (e.g. enrolment or beginning of term) letters may take a bit longer. All letters not collected after one term will be destroyed.
