Student Appeals and Complaints

London college of problem solving

Student appeals and complaints

We are committed to delivering a high quality learning experience for our students. We understand that all students from time to time have issues they wish to resolve, from questions about where to get support to concerns about the quality of their experience.

If you have a concern or issue which you need to discuss, we would like to hear from you.

The first point of contact is your Course Director. They will be able to resolve the majority of queries that you have. A second point of contact is your student representative on your course, or a member of the Students' Union.

Alternatively, you can seek advice to all issues and concerns through the LCC Information Centre. The staff in the Information Centre will be able to direct you to the full range of support and advice services, including the University’s complaints processes and procedures.

Student Complaints and Appeals Officer

We have a dedicated member of staff who deals with student appeals and complaints. The LCC Complaints and Appeals Officer is Gareth Evans. You can contact him via the Information Centre, or directly on 020 7514 6633 or student.complaints@lcc.arts.ac.uk

Gareth will be able to advise you on our complaints and appeal processes and procedures and can offer advice prior to submitting an Extenuating Circumstances form for consideration. You can find more information on the UAL complaints and appeals pages.

LCC is fully committed to resolving student issues promptly and we hope that by following this advice the majority of issues can be dealt with informally.
